BHUTAN GOLF INVITATIONAL
Golf the 2nd Highest Course In the World!
April 21-May 1, 2019
YOU ARE INVITED!
This April 2019, the first-annual international golf tournament will convene in this mystical Himalayan land of the ThunderDragon.
Join us for an outstanding 10-night journey in both Thailand and Bhutan, culminating with your participation in the inaugural 2019 Bhutan Golf Invitational - in partnership with Hampton Golf and Northland Country Club.
Enjoy up to five days of golfing and tournaments on some of the world's most exotic courses — plus exciting cultural tours, gourmet local cuisine, and relaxing hospitality in high quality resorts.
High in the glorious Himalayas, a hidden kingdom exists: Bhutan, the land of the Thunder Dragon.
In this last remaining oasis of traditional wisdom, culture, and pristine landscapes, national success is measured in Gross National Happiness, not in products. Yaks roam the hills, Buddhist monasteries perch cliffside, and visitors delight in the locals' warm hospitality and exceptional kindness.
Our trip begins with three nights in Bangkok, Thailand, taking in the local sights and then playing at the extravagant Thai Country Club — voted best in Thailand many times over — where we've rented out the entire course for the group's pleasure.
Our Bhutan adventure begins in the capital city of Thimphu with an evening at some of the finest landmarks. The next morning, the Bhutan Golf Invitational kicks off - held on two courses over two days. You will be joined by the nation's top players.
After the Golf Open wraps, the group will split into two segments. Those in the cultural package will head out to the beautiful Punakha Valley to visit ancient fortresses and temples, discover fantastic local art, make new Bhutanese friends, and even raft on the Mo Chhu river.
Finally, both parties will reconvene in Paro to hike Taktsang - the famed Tiger's Nest, ancient cliff-hanging monastery and Bhutan's most iconic site.
This journey has it all: golfing amidst Himalayan peaks and at the luxury Thai Country Club, traditional Bhutanese warmth and culture, mind-blowing sights, and the best in international cuisine. It is absolutely not to be missed.
The daring adventurers who opt for the fly fishing and golf journey will head off to the only-recently-opened district of Haa, Bhutan for the Himalayan Army Challenge.
This extraordinarily rare experience will have you teeing off on the highest private course in the world against Indian and Bhutanese military officers, fly fishing, and receiving blessings in a private ceremony with Buddhist monks.
Enjoy dinners served with these officers beside an ancient fortress in the Officers' Banquet Hall.
This Haa adventure has never been offered to any foreigner; it will surely leave guests with warm memories that will last a lifetime.
